High quality single and small-quantity vinyl mastering and dubplate cutting services in Devon, UK. Our diamond cut dubplates are high fidelity and as durable as factory pressed vinyl + we ship worldwide!
With more than a decade working with vinyl, music production, engineering, mixing and mastering we are able to offer high quality one-off and limited edition custom hand-cut poly-vinyl records for DJs, selectors, collectors, limited edition releases or even as a unique gift.
Using high-end equipment and software we master audio recordings specifically for vinyl, using a lathe we then cut the audio to durable poly-vinyl using a diamond in realtime, one-by-one. We can cut to 7″, 8″, 10″ and 12″, one-sided, both sides or multiple tracks. Finally we sleeve the dubplates, package them in high-quality mailers and ship worldwide!
A one-off or limited edition vinyl record featuring exclusive music, remixes, versions or dub mixes. Unlike traditional pressed records, dubplates are hand-cut one-by-one in real time using a lathe. We cut one-off dubs and limited edition batches of up to 100 copies, contact us for more info.
Pricing includes professional mastering for vinyl and white paper inner sleeve. We can cut your music onto 7″, 8″, 10″ or 12″ durable vinyl, as a single track, multiple tracks, and on either one side or both sides of the record. The larger the record, and slower the playback speed, the more audio we can fit onto the record. Records cut at 45 RPM with a shorter track length will generally sound louder and clearer. Please read our audio requirements carefully before making an order.

Please supply your audio to us as 16 bit, 44.1kHz wav or higher. We do not accept MP3s.
Try not to exceed our maximum recommended playing lengths per side, longer playing times will cause a dramatic decrease in level and dynamics and surface noise will be more audible. Our maximum recommended playing lengths are guidelines only, a few seconds here or there will not cause a problem. Please contact us if you are unsure.
Its best not to limit tracks before sending them to us, if tracks have already been limited, we can still cut them, but for the best cut we ask for your audio pre-limited.
All bass frequencies below 150 Hz must be centred, otherwise skipping may occur. We recommend you do this during production / mixing, but we can also centre frequencies below 150 Hz during mastering.
Too much sibilance will cause distortion on playback. You should keep this in mind when mixing for optimal results. Additional de-essing during the mastering stage and cutting process may be possible.
Do not clip / brick wall waveforms. This is ok for digital mastering but will translate to distortion when cut to vinyl.
Avoid excessive high frequencies. Frequencies above 15 kHz cause distortion. Avoid boosting frequencies above 10 kHz.
Note that due to the limitations of vinyl, by the time the needle reaches the inside of the record frequency response is down ‐3db at 15 kHz. Therefore when track-listing for longer records (multi-track LPs) it is best to put quiet songs last.
If you listen to our release history you will notice that we care a lot about sound and quality, that’s why we work with cutdubs! If you follow the audio requirements carefully cutdubs will cut you a wicked sounding dub that will stand the test of time.

After getting numerous runs of cuts from Cutdubs I can safely say I am more than happy with the quality and service. After listening to the cuts side by side with vinyl they are great, and alongside cuts from other lathes, even greater!
